Charming Leaning Pine cottage on Bass Lake with sunset views, just minutes from Interlochen Center for the Arts. Two bedrooms. Sleeps two in the master and four in the guest or use our "bonus room" space. This home has been lovingly preserved and decorated to retain the 1950s lake cottage feel. Bass Lake is ideal for swimming, kayaking, fishing, or just quiet reflection. Public boat launch is straight across from us. Nicely wooded lot for that true "up north" feeling. Traverse City, Old Mission/Leelanau wineries, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Frankfort are each about a half-hour drive.
We've added a lovely bench swing that faces the lake, between two tall pines; sit there in the morning with coffee for a slow "wake-up" or in the evening with wine to enjoy the sunset.
"We really enjoyed our week at this rental. The lake is quiet and great for fishing and kayaking. With the row boat, kayaks, fishing poles and grill included you can start enjoying the lake and outdoors immediately. The lake is shallow and safe for kids and dogs to swim.
